Important: Borrel is intended for entertainment and informational purposes only. BAC calculations are estimates and should not be used to determine fitness to drive or operate machinery. Never drink and drive.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Borrel ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Borrel is a mobile application that provides:

Drink tracking and counting functionality
Estimated Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) calculations
Time-based sobriety estimations
Drinking games for entertainment
Personal profile settings for customized calculations

3. Medical and Legal Disclaimer

BAC calculations provided by Borrel are estimates only. Actual blood alcohol levels can vary significantly based on individual factors including but not limited to: metabolism rate, food consumption, hydration levels, medication interactions, body composition, and medical conditions.

The App is not a medical device and should not be used to:

Determine whether you are legally fit to drive
Make decisions about operating vehicles or machinery
Replace professional medical advice or BAC testing
Assess intoxication levels for legal purposes

Always err on the side of caution. If you have consumed any alcohol, do not drive. Use designated drivers, ride-sharing services, or public transportation.

4. Age Requirement

You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to use this App. By using Borrel, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal drinking age in your country, whichever is higher).

5. Responsible Use

You agree to use Borrel responsibly and acknowledge that:

The App is a tool to help track consumption, not to enable excessive drinking
You are solely responsible for your alcohol consumption and behavior
The drinking games feature is for entertainment among consenting adults
You will not use the App to encourage underage drinking or irresponsible behavior

6. In-App Purchases

Borrel offers optional in-app purchases including:

Remove Ads: A one-time purchase to remove advertisements
Tips: Optional contributions to support development

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Borrel, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by LND Tech and are protected by international copyright laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LND Tech and its developer shall not be liable for:

Any decisions made based on BAC estimates provided by the App
Any injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from alcohol consumption
Any legal consequences arising from driving under the influence
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data stored on your device

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LND Tech from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
