1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Guardrails Checker for Jira ("the App"), a Forge app for Jira Cloud developed by LND Tech ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of the App

Guardrails Checker for Jira is a read-only audit tool that:

• Retrieves configuration data from your Jira Cloud instance via Jira REST APIs
• Computes metrics (fields, priorities, workflows, issue types, components, versions, status counts) against recommended thresholds
• Displays visual reports with percentile gauges on Admin and Project pages
• Caches scan results in Atlassian Forge storage to improve performance

The App does not modify, delete, or write any data to your Jira instance. It performs read-only operations.

3. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only:

• In compliance with Atlassian's Terms of Use and Marketplace Terms
• In compliance with your organization's policies and applicable law
• With appropriate Jira admin or project permissions

You shall not use the App to circumvent security controls, exceed API rate limits, or access data you are not authorized to access.

4. Data and Privacy

The App accesses Jira configuration data (fields, projects, workflows, etc.) that your Jira instance exposes via the APIs. This data is processed within Atlassian's Forge infrastructure. Cached results are stored in Forge app storage. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Availability and Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The App relies on Jira Cloud APIs and Forge platform services, which may change or have outages.

Audit results are based on the data available at the time of the scan. We are not responsible for:

• Inaccuracies or incompleteness of the reported metrics
• Decisions made based on the audit reports
• Third-party services (Jira Cloud, Forge, Atlassian)

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LND Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or reliance on audit results.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands.
