AuraNotes ("the App") is developed and operated by LND Tech ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles, how it is processed, and your rights.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. AuraNotes is designed with a privacy-first architecture:
When you use AI features (transcription, summarization, action item extraction, AI Chat), your audio recordings are sent directly from your device to Google's Gemini API. This communication happens through a direct REST API call — no intermediary servers, no Firebase, no third-party SDKs.
Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google AI Terms of Service.
Apple Watch: If you use the Apple Watch companion app, recorded audio is transferred from your watch to your paired iPhone via Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This transfer happens locally over Bluetooth/Wi-Fi and does not pass through any external servers.
We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. There are no third-party analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no advertising identifiers). Your usage of the app is entirely private.
AuraNotes offers optional in-app purchases (Day Passes and a Pro subscription) managed through Apple's StoreKit 2. All transaction data is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or transaction history beyond what StoreKit 2 provides to the app locally.
AuraNotes is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since all data remains on-device, no personal data from any user is transmitted to us.
AuraNotes requires microphone access to record audio. This permission is requested through iOS's standard permission dialog. Microphone access is used exclusively for audio recording within the app. No background recording occurs — recording only happens when you explicitly start it.
