1. Introduction

LexisAudit ("the App") is developed and operated by LNDTech ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your legal documents. LexisAudit was designed from the ground up as a local-first application with minimal data transmission.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be explicit about what we do not collect:

• We do not collect or store your legal documents
• We do not collect personal identification information
• We do not use analytics or tracking services
• We do not use advertising frameworks
• We do not collect device identifiers
• We do not maintain user accounts or profiles
• We do not log your usage patterns

3. How the App Processes Your Documents

3.1 On-Device OCR (Text Extraction)

When you import or scan a document, text extraction (OCR) is performed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework (VNRecognizeTextRequest). No images or document files are transmitted during this step.

3.2 AI Analysis

When you initiate a contradiction analysis, only the extracted text (not the original document files, images, or PDFs) is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. This is the only point at which data leaves your device.

• What is sent: Plain text extracted from your documents
• What is NOT sent: Original PDF files, scanned images, metadata, or any personal information
• API tier: We use Google's Paid API tier, which means your data is contractually excluded from being used to train or improve AI models under Google's data processing terms
• Data retention by Google: Per Google's Paid API terms, input and output data is not retained beyond the immediate API request processing

3.3 Local Storage

Imported and scanned documents are stored temporarily in the App's sandboxed storage on your device. This storage is:

• Isolated from other apps (iOS App Sandbox)
• Automatically wiped when the app enters background
• Protected by your device's hardware encryption
• Accessible only after biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID)

4. Biometric Authentication

LexisAudit uses Face ID or Touch ID to protect access to the App. Biometric data is processed entirely by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework on your device. We never access, store, or transmit biometric data.

5. Data Security Measures

• Biometric lock: Face ID / Touch ID required on every app launch
• Session auto-wipe: All documents and caches are deleted when the app enters background
• App Sandbox: Document storage is isolated by iOS
• No persistent storage: The app does not use databases, Core Data, or cloud sync
• No analytics: No tracking SDKs are included in the app

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini API (Paid Tier): For AI-powered document contradiction analysis. Only extracted text is transmitted. Google's Paid API terms ensure your data is not used for model training. See Google's AI Terms of Service.
• Apple StoreKit / App Store: For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions (Day Pass at €4.99, Weekly at €6.99/week, Monthly at €22.99/month). All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). 7. Children's Privacy

LexisAudit is designed for legal professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. International Data Transfer

When you run an AI analysis, extracted text data is transmitted to Google's servers, which may be located outside your country of residence. This transmission is subject to Google's data processing terms for paid API customers.

9. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. All document data is stored only on your device and is automatically wiped on each session. You maintain full control over your data at all times.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
