1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and LNDTech ("we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the LexisAudit application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

LexisAudit is a premium productivity tool designed for legal professionals. The App allows users to:

• Import or scan legal documents (PDFs and physical papers)
• Extract text using on-device optical character recognition (OCR)
• Analyze two documents for factual contradictions using artificial intelligence
• Generate professional discrepancy reports for legal review

3. Pricing & In-App Purchases

LexisAudit is a free application with optional in-app purchases. Document import, scanning, and OCR are available to all users at no cost. AI-powered contradiction analysis requires an active subscription or day pass. The following products are offered:

3.1 Subscription Terms

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Apple ID account settings in the App Store after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3.2 Day Pass Terms

• The Day Pass is a one-time consumable purchase that grants unlimited AI analysis access.
• Access expires at midnight (00:00) local time on the day of purchase, regardless of when the purchase was made.
• Day Passes do not auto-renew and are non-refundable once used.

3.3 General Pricing Terms

All prices are in Euros (€) and may vary by region due to App Store pricing tiers and applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will apply to new purchases and renewals only.

4. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
• Redistribute, sublicense, lease, or rent the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures of the App
• Use the App to process documents that violate any applicable laws

6. Disclaimer of Legal Advice

You acknowledge that:

• AI analysis may contain errors, miss contradictions, or produce false positives
• The accuracy of results depends on the quality of the input documents and OCR extraction
• The App should be used as a supplementary review tool, not as a definitive source of legal analysis
• You are solely responsible for any actions taken based on the App's output

7. AI-Powered Analysis

7.1 How Analysis Works

The App uses Google's Gemini API (Paid Tier) to analyze extracted document text. Only plain text extracted via on-device OCR is transmitted to the API. Original documents (PDFs, images) are never sent.

7.2 Data Processing Terms

We use Google's Paid API tier, which means:

• Your data is not used for AI model training
• Input and output data is not retained beyond the immediate API request processing
• Data processing is governed by Google's enterprise data processing terms

7.3 Limitations

AI analysis is subject to the limitations inherent in large language models. We implement anti-hallucination guardrails (requiring verbatim quotes and page references), but no AI system is infallible. Results should always be independently verified.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to our service. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we handle your data. Key points:

• All OCR processing is performed on-device
• Documents auto-wipe when the app enters background
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are used
• Biometric authentication is required for every session

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, algorithms, and documentation, is the intellectual property of LNDTech and is protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
• WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS
• WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
• IN NO EVENT SHALL LNDTECH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LNDTech, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

12. Apple App Store Terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and LNDTech, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of a failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if applicable); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims related to the App.

13. Termination

We may terminate your license to use the App if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
