Terms of Service - Magic Columns for Jira

Summary: By installing Magic Columns for Jira you agree to these terms. The app automates AI enrichment of issues in spaces you enable. Use responsibly and configure workflows before enabling spaces.

1. Acceptance

Magic Columns for Jira ("the App") is developed by LND Tech. By installing or using the App you accept these Terms. If you disagree, do not install or use the App.

2. Description

The App is a Forge application that:

Monitors status transitions into configured Magic Column statuses
Invokes Atlassian-hosted LLMs to generate context, risk analysis, and refined descriptions
Writes comments and descriptions and transitions issues forward in the workflow
Runs only in Jira spaces explicitly enabled in the admin page

3. Your Responsibilities

Configure workflow statuses, transitions, and board columns as documented before enabling a space
Ensure teammates understand that AI-generated content should be reviewed before reliance
Comply with Atlassian Terms of Use, Marketplace Terms, and your organisation's policies
Maintain appropriate Jira permissions for users who move issues through Magic Columns

4. AI-Generated Content

Outputs are generated by large language models and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated comments and descriptions before using them for delivery decisions. We do not guarantee correctness of generated user stories, risks, or Definition of Done items.

5. Subscription & Licensing

The App may be offered as a paid Marketplace listing. Production use requires an active subscription when licensing is enforced. Pricing and billing are handled by Atlassian Marketplace when applicable.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The App depends on Jira Cloud, Forge, and Forge LLM services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LND Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including reliance on AI outputs or workflow misconfiguration.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands and applicable EU law.
